Old storyline; locked

Aeruls blade whipped suddenly up and flicked at Tulaks face. Three rangers went into the building and started to shoot Bandon when he was yelling at the blocked door. The rangers fired back instantly moving around, still pouring in their deadly accurate stream of arrows. The ranger who had fallen stood, pulled outa dagger, threw it at Xu and ran off the lake into the decimated camp to see to Goru who was still injured.

Salvanar turned to Izath, who was still enjoying himself way too much. "Cataclysm?" he asked. Izath shook his head. "I cannot guarantee the safety of our allies if we overload again.

OOC: Also the lake is melting it would prove highly dangerous!

He turned, and a dagger thrown by the fallen ranger had slashed through his robes, but luckily missing his body. Since the rangers has dispersed, he followed the 3 rangers than chased after Bandon. Xu seals off the entrance with a wall of energy, to let no more beings enter. He then saw a ranger, and fired a ball of energy at him...

OOC: aha, a fatal trap.

Izath saw that there were several enemies in the melting waters. "I wonder how long their nerve impulses hold on for?" He smiled. He tapped the water, and electrified it, making jolts of horrendously hot lightning jump from enemy to enemy.

"Friends, I wouldn't recommend being in there at the moment!" he shouted.

The rangers however had not been standing in any melting water, an illusian cast by the running rangers had tricked Slavanar into melting the lake. The rangers now standing at the side, having lost one in the water laughed and began to fire again as three helped carry off goru into the distance. The ranger Xu attacked died silently however another threw to daggers at Xu.

The dagger just slashed Xu's arm. It was not lethal, but it hurt. The ranger then ran off into the fortress, and Xu could not find him. Instead, he tried to find Bandon...

Bandon got a rude introduction by 3 rangers who fired at him. 1 arrow hit his straight in the chest and Bandon laughted "You mortals should surrender now and live, or I will rend the flesh off of you so slowly, you will be begging me to kill you!" Bandon then whiped around and created a wall of energy between him and the rangers. "Wow, my powers impress me. I did not know I could do that." And then he got his axe out and started prying the door open. Tulak in the mean time had sustained minor injuries from the ranger captain "Surrender now! Bandon has the thunderlord within him! He could wipe us all out without a thought! Think about it, fool! We outnumber you!" Then he lunged and he caught the ranger leader...

Nero jerked up at the sound of the door. He straightened, and concentrated for a second; then he sent a compressed wave of sound blasting the door shut, and the person backwards. It sounded like a low pitched hum, and gave Nero a headache.
Then he spotted the key. He gave a cry of delight, and leapt towards it.

Bandon got sent flying backwards into the sheild he had made injuring him. "Right, that is it!!" Bandon yelled and he drew on the power of the thunderlord and then as his arms were sparkling with electricity he started to yank the door off. "I'll kill you, you fool! No one hurts an ally of Bandon V. Lucifer and get away with it! Come face me you cowered!" Bandon screamed in daemonic fury.

Toro woke up. He must've dozed off. But he had a vision. He had to go to mirage lake now.
He hadn't teleported much. But he could do it, and it wasn't too far away, so it might be easier. He concentrated hard....
...He was in mirage lake. He was right by the traveller who helped Toro destroy the Ice golem, Xu. It made him think of Kako and Ryo, he felt sadder, but angrier..
He screamed, then the tip of his Katana exploded into life, a life of fire. An inferno of fury and fire turned into an orb of intense heat. It "popped" like a balloon, into an exploision. Before Xu could get hurt by it, Toro immedietly created a sheild of fire. It stopped the flames completly around where they were.
While the inferno was blazing, Toro thought. He could never do that before, either of the spells. Was he getting more powerful?

Tulaks balde however missed as the lake melted instantly beneath them. As arrows started to rain from the shore where the rangers had gone just before Izath had melted the lake. Aerul laughed as he swam. "Ha, even your friends impede you. haven't you noticed that no-one ever asked us all if we wanted to go peacefully? Why? Because no one likes rangers or out-casts and we are the worst of the lot. We are both so no your surrender to be killed when we feel like it is not the option I choose."Aerl stabbed at Tulak and then began to swim ashore

Cibhi rolled away and sent a fireball hurtling towards the key,surrounding it in a dome of fire.He then aimed a kick at Neros chest,praying this would work...

Nero snatched his hand away from the fire surrounding the key, and then gasped in pain. Cibhi foot had connected with Nero's solar plexus, effectively paralysing him for a few seconds.

Tulak started swimming for the shore and within half a minute he was on shore, sword in hand "You should know that I am in fit condition and now, why won't you surrender now? Surely it would be better to just walk away now. Won't it?" And with that Tulak lunged into the water where the captain was still in. Bandon had eventually got the door open just enough to get in and then he slipped through into the room. "I should have told you that nothing stops me. Now get ready to fight me. Sword or magic?" Bandon was standing there waiting for Nero to make his move...

Cibhi grabbed for the key,dispelling the fire instantly,and he jumped infront of the chest,putting the key in the lock.
"Bandon,hold him off,this lock is difficult to turn!"He said,slowly turning the key.

Aerul leapt out of the water. "Rangers, head to 'The Run'!" Aerul called to them saving them from harm. "No Tulak, yes I know your name. No I will bot surrender here. You and bandon tried to kill my brothers. Indeed three already lie dead at your hands. Do you really think that after killing my Brothers I will let you live? You should have asked at the start instead of killing my brothers then asking" Aerul cried. He lunged straight at Tulak.

"Oh, no you don't!" Nero snarled, throwing his sword at the bandon, and conjuring a black, shimmering nimbus around his palm. He drew back his, and prepared to fire it at Cibhi.

Tulak tried to dodge but he still got hit, Through the gut. He screamed and his scars went a black and he said in a quiet tone "Damn you to hell. Bandon will come back to kill you and to parade your innards in all the major towns but one thing before you go. You should have looked behind." And with it Bandon's Elemental jumped on top of the ranger and it started to savagely maul his face. Tulak dropped to the floor and he then got onto his knees. He threw his sword into a ranger and it landed right in his chest. Tulak then dropped onto the floor...

"Stop"Cibhi said."Or I will melt the key,and the chest will remain closed forever.Are you willing to take that risk?"He was,of course,just stalling for time,but time was precious...

OOC: I have two problems with that (a) I bound Bandons Elemental a while back so he can't move until I release him and (b) that was auto-hitting

Nero screamed in pain. He loosed the magic, and it struck the elemental, knocking it the floor. When it looked down, there was a clean hole in it's chest where the magic had struck.
Nero was in a bad way. His whole body was bleeding, and that which wasn't was burned.
"Damn you, fool! That key cannot be melted!" He screamed.
He roared, all sanity lost, and took out his knife, stumbling towards Cibhi.

Bandon flipped over Nero landing in front of him. "You must go through me first!" Bandon then started to hack with his axe...

Nero grabbed the axe with his bare hand. It cut deep, but Nero was beyond pain now. He felt almost nothing, but a determination to get the key and open the chest.
He wrenched at the axe, at the same time stabbing with his knife.

Cibhi turned the key,and the chest sprung open.A small tune started to play,and everyone in Grennendia heard it,but it was different to each one.To all of them it sounded like the most beautiful thing in the world.All over,people stopped violent acts.Hunters paused to smile,soldiers stopped fighting and listened,everyone heard it.And then it stopped,and the chest went a dark black,and a scream erupted from it.Dark shadows sprang out,and flew out the door of the temple and all over the world.For a few moments it was as if there was a solar eclipse,the world went dark,and fear set in as the screaming sound spread.And then,all of a sudden,it stopped,and things continued on.
But in the temple,matters were different.
Sat there the chest had been was a mass,contsantly changing shape,colour,everything.
"Pure chaos..."Cibhi said,and he turned to Nero."You want chaos?How about being chaos?"He pointed at Nero,and muttered something.He never understood nor remembered it,but the word came naturally.The Chaos shifted towards Nero,and started surrounding him.
