"Well, you could say that. She is, well was my wife back when I was living. I am truly suprised that her soul found a body and this late aswell. Hmm... Allwell. Anything else happen around my fortress? Found a relic or person missing?" Bandon asked Selena before he left the room and scoured the hallways looking for a special room.
Tulak was confused. Bandon had a wife? Who is that woman who just collapsed? Tulak kept asking himself questions when he took a walk to see if the building had a library.

Izath was wandering the corridors with Salvanar. He was looking at several portraits of bandon's supposed family. As Izath was about to enter another room, a cold clammy hand grabbed his shoulder. Izath jumped back in fright, nothing other than another elemental can touch him. He turned to see Salvanar's hand on his shoulder. Salvanar himself was extremely...different.

"The hour of the Omnipotence begins, the dark and the light, time itself, fire and water, all will converge upon to point you now see." Salvanar said in an etheral tone. Izath was shocked by this change. "What is this you speak of, Salvanar!?" He continued his speech. "Time, Darkness, Light, Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. These are the seven orbs that will bind one soul to his destiny forever...the soul of he who calls himself the master of you." Izath was still confused. "Master, why do you speak this nonsense?" He asked. Suddenly Salvanar morphed into a black elemental and grabbed Izath by the throat. "Ja Ojo Killegre'th nazak thel!" With the words leaving his mouth, the black elemental disappeared, revealing Salvanar once more. Izath was clearly surprised. "Master, you spoke in grimmag!" He exclaimed. Salvanar got up and looked at him strengely. "What? I've been looking at these portraits! What nonsense you speak, Izath!" He left the elemental, completely perplexed. Izath ran up to him. "Master, you spoke the language of my people! I could hear you, clear as day!" Salvanar just raised an eyebrow. "I will take your word for it." He said.

Cibhi was sat in his room,bags under his eyes.He hadn't slept.Everytime he got close to doing so memories from the Deep Forest flooded into his mind and scared him awake.However,he remembered something...
Infront of him was a bag,open,with herbs inside,and next to that a book on all the herbs in Grennendia.On his lap he had a bowl of water,and was casually flicking through the book.So far,most of the herbs he had found were very similar to ones already discovered,just with bigger petals,brighter colours,etc.
He had placed a few herbs in the bowl infront of him,the ones with good properties,and had mixed them up.The mixture was clear,like water,except it seemed to be faintly bubbling.He heard a scream,and quickly poured the mixture into a vial before placing it all under his bed.He got up,opened the door,and slowly crept through the fortress towards the general direction of the scream.

Salvanar was looking at some portraits again when Izath remembered what Salvanar had said in Grimmag. "Salvanar will be the epicentre of a great Elemental surge" Izath said. "I must force him to show me his true potential." Izath got up. "Salvanar, taste lightning!" He fired a flash of energy at Salvanar, but it never touched him. The Bolt of lightning was suspended in time. "So, you're just like every other lightning elemental. Traitor, feel this pain!" Salvanar whipped an orb of black matter from his hand and flung it at Izath. He was suddenly suffering all his worst nightmares combined. He regained hs sanity and looked at Salvanar. "You have the powers of a Time and Darkness elemental. What else?" Izath asked. "You will see upon the day of the merging!" Salvanar yelled before disappearing. Izath turned round to see a perfectly happy Salvanar caling to him. "Izath, what say you about this one?" He asked. Izath was confused. "I have a better question, what other elements other than Darkness and Time do you command?" Izath asked. Salvanar rolled his eyes. "Honestly, Izath, what has gotten into you? I am a commander of lightning and lightning only. You shoul know that much. Now stop fooling around and tell me what you think of this artwork?"

All the way to the Molros Volcano, Xu felt as if he was being watched. This time, though, it was unmistakable. He turned, and behind him was a Huge Wolf-like creature, at least 15 ft tall, maybe more. It looked at him with eyes of flame, before pouncing.

Xu barely dodged it, jumping to one side. He launched an energy ball, and it hit it in the face...

Screaming, shouting, swords, blood, death. It was all around him. In barren lands, no living things....skeletals swarming, howls of those who killed. Familiar faces, coming to life, then just being swept away.
Creatures now, but gastly monsters. Humans, some good, some evil. Almost undead. Probably are.
It went on and on until Toro finnaly woke up, in tears and in horror. He knew what the stakes were, and he wished that he wouldn't have to see it.

Izath started seeing all sorts of things in the hallway. Burning Spirits, Restless beams of electricity darting to and fro. "Master, I see with the eyes of thousands! That one would have this honour, the honour of knowing his being!" Salvanar was genuinely concerned now. "Izath, what is happening to you?" He asked. Izath gave an almost childlike laugh. "I know not, how can any being know this greatness? How can one explain the honour, the privelage?" With a burst of light, Izath had left Salvanar. "Izath! Where have you gone? Izath!" Salvanar yelled.

The room Izath was in glowed yellows and whites. A fire elemental appeared on the left of him, a lightning elemental appeared on the right. "Greetings, Izath. My name is Incendinar, and this is my loyal lady, K'ithak. It is good to have you back, my child." The fire elemental looked at his wife. K'ithak smiled. "There is no longer any need to decieve your master. Do you know why your name is Izath, and not a lightning name such as Am'Kile?" She asked him. Izath stuttered. "n..no..." She looked at him with a serene grace. "It is because you are not a lightning elemental. You are a fire and lightning cross. You are a light elemental, my child!" She whipped away his stormfront, and he glimmered a magnificent gold. Izath could not believe this. His madness...the words of merging, now he knew! The great merging, light and dark, fire and water! He was to become a Light elemental! His father was born of Flames, and his mother born of Lightning. He was a crossbreed, and he was proud to be this new element!

Izath laughed. "With my newfound power, I can set planets ablaze, destroy entire stars, lay waste to solar systems! I-" K'ithak interrupted. "My child, you can do none of those things, stop overexaggerating! You're as bad as your father!" She said. Incendinar laughed. Izath was pretty down because of this. "Then, what can I do?" Ki'ithar looked at him. "What can't you do, Izath? ask yourself that much." Izath nodded. "But what of my master? He commands lightning only. Am I to become rogue?" He asked. Incendinar looked at his child. "No. Only a wielder of light energies could summon you. Salvanar has lightning powers, and some, very weak fire powers. If he combines them, he gets some weak light powers. He can therefore summon you. Go now, Child of the sun, and make your master proud. We will stop whispering to you, it will drive you insane if we continue." He concluded.

Izath appeared right next to Salvanar. "Master, think no more of me as a lightning elemental. You, through powers unknown, managed to summon me, and I...I..." Salvanar stared at him. "...yes?" Izath finally got the sentence out. "I am a light elemental.....A very weak, very untrained light elemental...."

Bandon was in his art gallery defiling someones painting with a human's blood. He smiled when he heard the screams of his guests waking up from their slumber. That was one thing he got used to, sleeping with fear. He put down his brush and left the room. He walked along the corridors knocking on the occupied rooms. They needed to get ready to fight the golden mask. "wake up everyone! we need to leave! Today! We fight the Golden Mask!" Bandon shouted. Tulak put down a book and went to the main hall. Bandon's elite arrived there too. Now they just need to wait....

...It growled, and swung it's arm at Xu. Of course, Xu was still not at his best. He ran...And ran...Until he reached Bandons fortress once again.
He kcocked on the door repeatedly, for the wolf was not far...

Izath looked at the door. "A friend approaches. Light, guide him in!" Izath released rays of light which openeed the door. Izath stared at Xu. "Welcome, friend, why the haste?"

Xu felt the breath of the wolf as he jumped through the doors. He landed with a thud on the cold, stone floor.
He pointed to the Door...
"There!! Thats why!!"

A skeletal guard opened the door for Xu and saw the wolf creature. The guard rang a bell and 14 other skeletens came and engaged the wolf. Each time a skeleton got killed, he would just rise again and keep on attacking. Bandon heard the commotion and ran outside to help fight the beast...

Izath looked at the wolf. "Sorry, huge doggies must first register at reception. Bye." He shot a beam of light into its eyes, causing it to stop briefly. He slammed the door in its face and locked it.

"Now, anyone for lunch?"

While the creature was dazed, Bandon climbed onto it's back and wrapped his chainblades around the wolf's throat. He tightned the grip intil the wolf stopped tugging and layed down. Bandon had full control of the beast and with it he rode it of across the bridge that connected the Islet to Grennendia. When he was on the other side, Bandon released the sword and jumped off, leaving the creature to run off into a forest. Bandon walked back to see the guards opening the door. Or at least trying. Bandon pulled a guard away and pushed the door, it opened and they all walked in. "That takes care of that." Bandon said.

Izath looked at Bandon. "We make a good team. That is an interesting power you have there, use it well." He said.

Salvanar looked at Izath. "You weren't doing too bad yourself, light powers to disorientate the wolf? An interesting strategy."

Selena, was sitting by Airien's side as she lay on Bones' medical table. She heard the commotion cause by the wolf, but didn't ant to get involved.
Hawke also heard it, and woke quickly, scrambling to get dressed. He located his two knives, one under his pillow the other under the mattress, and left his room the moment the Wolf left the fortress.
"What the hell was that about?" He shouted.

Airien was still unconscious. However, memories were still coming to her lips. Memories made her drift into a sleep
"Where are you going... What?.." She murmurred."You can't...don't do that its wrong..."
The memories sank and she fell still again, her sub-consciousness becoming unactive again. The fortress' energies left her, for now...
Then they swayed back again, bring about anotehr wave of memories to her sub-concience. Activituy stirred slightly then fell away again...
Airien drifted away from troubled sleep and back into unconciousness.

Selena looked around surreptiously. She thought back. When she'd been learning about the mind, she'd learnt about a certain branch of magic called Empathy. It allowed somebody to experience the emotions and experiences of someone else. It required physcial contact, and was quite unpleasant, but selena decidede to give a try.
She rested her fingertips against Airiens temple, closed her eyes and concentrated. She made her mind flow into Airiens....
Pain. That was foremost in her mind. She felt flames rushing around her, searing her, and their roar filled her ears. There was another roar too, that sounded less like the flames more like a huge creature.
Then the flames were gone and it was a pleasant day, she was laughing with a man sitting next to her...
Then she was crying, a terrible feeling or betrayal, the same man comforting her...
And the flames struck again, and that roar, and this time a terrible stink, a horrrific smell and a feeling of emptiness, spreading through her body...
And she was walking through the same fortress she was in now, walking up the stairs to the room at the top landing...
Selena drew back with a sharp intake of breath, and collapsed on her chair. She hated doing Empathy. The feeling of leaving your body...the body thought it was dying. When you came back, you felt a little dead inside. It was dangerous to do it for too long, or else the body might finish dying, or even worse.
But...Airien was going through hell right now. And they definitely weren't her memories in her mind. Selena frowned. Who had the man been? He had looked familiar, but feelings like that were always difficult to place, espescially if they weren't actually yours.
She sighed. She felt so tired now..
She fell asleep on the chair, and had troubled dreams.

Izath went to see Airien in the hospital wing. "Poor creature, I fear there is but one thing I can do for you." He increased his radiant glow to the point where wondrous sunbeams erupted from his body in a tranquil and calm way.

"If there is one thing I can do to help, it is to provide you with glorious light. Enjoy the sunshine." Izath said rhymically.

Salvanar was watching this. "Izath, sunshine won't help him." He said. Izath smiled. "Maybe not, but everyone deserves to see the warm glow of the sun."

Bandon was walking along the many corridors occasionlly trying to make converstion with the many undead with little success. He had done a full circuit of the fortress when he arrived in the healing room. "How is my guest? I hope she is allright?"Said Bandon slightly worried. "Well sir, she is stable and not much phisical damage. Her mind is going through hell though. I don't suppose you could let me..." "Do not even try it Bones! If you must, do your crazy experiments on me. You are one strange skeletal doctor." "Sorry sir. I shall not ask of that again."
Bones skulked and sat at his desk writing medical notes. Bandon sat down next to the others. "I hope you can hear me, Airien. Please remember, this is what I go through every day. I have suffered much, from watching my wife die to being cast down by an elemental god. I even woke up once to find people shoveling dirt on top of me." Bandon took off his helmet and one of his gauntlets. On his skeletal hand was a beautiful golden ring. He took it off and put it on one of Airien's fingers. "Here, take this ring, it used to be my wife's and so I thought I should give it back to her." Bandon kept on watching Airien..

Deep in the waters and darkness of unconsciousness Airiens mind was in hell, literally. She couldn't hear anything of the outside world, indeed, she couldn't even feel her own body, it was like she didn't have one outside her mind. Over and over again, the screams and the roars. The burning flames and the searing and burning flesh. It was a horrrible memory it reapeated over and over, never ceasing never deminishing just there and getting worse with each passing minute, slowly getting worse and yet, she couldn't die couldbn't die and get away from it all...

Xu was walking by the corridors, and peered into a Room whose door was Ajar. He saw Airien lying on a Bed, with people surrounding her. He decided to to go in and Crowd her...

This reminded Xu of a person who was very close to him...A girl named Coralie...

"Sir! Her dreams are worsening by the minute! We have got to get her awake!" "Well, your the doctor! You do something!" "I'll try!" Bones tries many different ways of waking her to no avail. "Sir, she is getting potentially lethal signs of stress! We have got to get her awake!"
Bandon flicked his wrist and his elemental popped out of the air. "Send non lethal shcoks through her body, not strong enough to hurt her ok?! Just enough to suprise her!" The elemental did it's best but to no success. "Argh! Forget this! She is having trouble breathing! I'm going in!" Bandon pressed his cold lips around her's and breathed. She was loosing air and fast and Bandon did as much as possible to supply her with the much needed oxygen...

The flames were getting worse, there was no escape, the memories of green and gardens were gone, burnt to a crisp by the all consuming memory of flames. The roar, the surge of white hot flames engulfing her, swallowing her, searing her flesh from her bones. Charring her...killing her. The memory was to painful to painful... And then, in the flames she saw a light, a white light a pure light...

Selena woke up. Bandon and Saw bones were fussing over Airien, who looked even worse. She shoved Bandon out of the way, bent over Airien, and put her fingers to her temples again. She let her mind flow into Airien, and felt her pain.
Hawke arrived at the ward. He looked through the door, saw Bandon kissing Airien, and he was then shoved aside by Selena who bent over Airien...
Hawke shut the door. Just don't go there, he thought, and went to have a lie down.
