Old storyline; locked

Bandon watched her walk up that old staircase and he wondered. How does she know about that room? All well. She surely can't be, can she? she got roasted alive so it could not be Bandon's wife. He got up and walked into Tulak's room and sat next to him. There was no sign of life in that scar ridden body. Bandon called Saw Bones into the room to check up on Tulak and then he retired to his bedroom. He forgot what it was like, with black marble floors and roses growing along the collems keeping the roof up. He looked up and he saw stars twinkling in the black roof, he then walked over to his bed and he saw 2 diamond lights on either side of the bed. He took of his armour and slipped underneath the fur blankets and fell asleep...

For Airien the night was filled with troubling and strange dreams, and memories.
She tossed and turned in the bed...

Bandon was only asleep for an hour when he had woke from a nightmare screaming. He was suprised that he was actually scared of something. he shook the dream from his head and got dressed. He went outside his room and accompanied a skeletal guard on his patrol of the fortress. He even tried making conversation with the guard but that proved unsuccessful. he just replied in creaks and So Bandon went into the upper floors of the fortress. he noted how abandoned everything was and continued going up intil he reached the summit of his fortress. Bandon went outside on a balcony and looked out to the island of Grennendia and he sighed. he heard Airien in her room tossing and turning and kept listening to make sure she was allright. He then turned and gazed out across the waters...

Airien awoke after a particularly strange dream and sat up, breathing heavily. She got up and went into the bathroom where she bathed her face with a bowl of water that was mysteriously there. She then looked at her reflection, except it wasn't exactly hers she fainted at the sight of it...

Bandon was cleaning his battle axe when he heard a thump in Airien's bedroom. He dropped his axe and ran up to the door. "Airien! Are you ok? I'm coming in!" Bandon then pressed his hands against several places on the door and it opened. He ran in and saw Airien lying on the floor. Bandon Picked her up and placed her on the bed, he then called for Saw Bones who came as fast as lightning. "Make sure she is ok! We need all the allies we can get to stop our enemies. I would hate it for someone to die right here, right now." Bandon stayed in the room waiting for a response from Airien...

Under Saw Bones' ministrations Airien came around fairly quickly. In her slightly dazed state she didn't say the classic 'Where am I?' but said "Who is there?" However Airiend then went on to say "Where am I?"

Bandon turned around to see Airien awake and he replied. "You are in my wife's old bedroom, you must remember us? Saw Bones and Bandon V. Lucifur? Anyway, you collapsed in the bathroom. I don't know why you did but you did regardless. Good job Saw." "No problem, sir. Now if you would excuse me, I would like to return to the healing room." Saw Bones walked off leaving Bandon and Airien alone in the old room. "Right, well... I suppose i shall be leaving you now. If you have anything you need to tell me then I am an open book." Bandon waited for a reply from his ally...

"Why is everything a double vision?" Airien asked attempting to sit up. She was seeing two of everything except, with a difference, Bandon was normal yet human at the same time, the doctor, Saw Bones, he was a skeleton yet a human as well (OOC: Look up TF2 Medic for a picture of what Saw Bones once looked like!). The room seemed normal yet at the same time filled with things that weren't there. "Why am I seeing past and present at the same time?!" Airien said urgently.

Selena woke. She hadn't been sleeping well, and now she could hear people talking and stuff upstairs. When it didn't stop, she decided she would see what was going on.
She crept out of her room, and walked upstairs silently. Her gown trailed slightly behind her.
She reached the top of the stairs where the door was slightly ajar. She could see Airien lying on the bed, with Bandon sitting next to her. She raised an eyebrow, and decided not to go in, but instead flattened herself against the wall and listened carefully.

"Hmm... Well it seems the fortress is getting to you I suppose. tell me if you start seeing the former residents of this place. that would mostly mean trouble. Now if you will excuse me, I will be back out on the balcony." Bandon left the room and went back outside. He felt carm for once and started to sing.

In Tulak's room something stirred, and the scars of a wounded man turned blue. tulak awoke screaming. He scanned the room and got up, left the room and started exploring the fortress. He went in several rooms only to find his friends sleeping. He made his way up some stairs...

Airien sat up and got out of the bed, she put one hand on the wall and the other to her head. It was getting worse, it had started as she had approached but now it was more than she could cope with. Eveything was past an present and she got the feeling that Bandon wasn't telling the truth either. There was one who might have known, two infact if her father told the truth. Both were dead, or supposed to be dead anyway. By the looks of this fortress, maybe the line between dead and alive wasn't as big as she had once thought it was. She was hearing voices now, echoes of a distant memory, mixing with the few sounds of the night. "Bandon has sung that before!" She said suddenly and abit louder than expected when another wave of memories, which she wasn't sure whether they were her own or not, hit her. There came a rustling outside and a slight intake of breath. Airien whipped round and advanced on the door, threw it open, turned and confronted Selena. "What, do you think you are doing!" She demanded...

Selena was quite surprised, but hid it well.
"Well, I came up since i couldn't sleep and heard noises, and I saw you on the bed and Bandon...I just didn't want to interrupt anything, thats all." Selena said. "You don't look to good though. Problems?" She asked.

Bandon looked around and saw the two women. "Problems? Either of you? You look bad Airien, you should keep on resting." Bandon walked over to the women and observed what was happening. It looked like the fortress has too much evil locked up in it for Airien... Bandon thought...

'Problems?' At the same time as Selena said problems a voice echoed out of a memory. "We have some problems." Airien didn't feel good any more. "N, no. Fine, go away. Don't eavesdrop on me again!" With that she turned at shut the door, locked it and sat down on a Chaise Lounge. "I really don't feel good at all." She said to her self...

Selena frowned. She knocked on the door.
"Tell me whats wrong. I might be able to help."

Xu woke yet by the sound of a slamming door.

"What is wrong with this place?!" he thought.

He was Thirsty, and set off in search of the kitchen. Once he found it, he turned the tap on. But, no water appeared. He turned it a little harder, and it snapped off.

"Crap..." he thought...

"Go away, you can't help, neither can anyone else in this damned place." Airien almost sobbed as another troop of memories came into the forefront of her mind. "Go, away..."

Xu hurridely try to stick the tap back on. It was dark, and he couldn't see very well in the Dim light, and accidental stabbed himself in the finger with the broken Handle.

Undaunted, Xu tried again...and again...and again...Until he could bare it no longer.
He found the front door and started to walk home...

Selena tried again.
"I might be able, might not. I know someone who will be able to. Just tell me. You will feel better, trust me." She said.

Bandon felt sorrow in his black heart for his friend. "C'mon, I have been around for almost a millenia. I can help. Tell me more about what you are feeling. Trust me I can help." bandon walked closer trying to gain her trust and for her to open up to him.

tulak went through some abandoned hallways on the second floor just to find the former residents as undead. He continued up the levels and then found Bandon and so he stepped closer...

"Go away!" Airien said. She went to the wall, when another memory appeared and she pushed on it slightly then the wallmoved to the sie revealing a small cache of arms, she pulled out a bow and some arrows. "Go away!" She nearly screamed at the door, pulling an arrow on the string back until it reached her cheek. "Go away!" She nearly screamed at the door, again. "Go away or I will kill you!"

"What is going on?" Asked Tulak. "Hmm... It seems that one of my allies is being flooded with memories from back in her natural time. She has been around for as long as me you know. look! Calm down! I can help." Bandon went up to the door and with enought might and with absorbing as much dark power as he could, he punched a hole through the door. "Nothing is going to stop me from getting into my wife's old bedroom you know!" He punched another hole into the door and then another, intil he could get into the room...

Airien was in a right state, she fired the arrow at Bandon and then...
She saw the last memory, flames, hot flames, s many hot flames, burning charring and flames. Heat... Airien screamed at the sudden pain of the memory, she screamed at the face she saw screaming as the fiigure was bathed in flames, flesh seared off here bones, off Airiens bones...
Then there was cool blackness, nothing...
Far away, Airien carried on screaming, even after she collapsed...

Bandon got struck by the arrow in his left eye but that did not stop him. He pulled it out and ran over to Airien. She was still breathing and there was no sign of phisical damage. Bandon lifted her up and took her downstairs. I thought it was her. Bandon said to himself. He took her downstairs to the healing room and laid her on the table. "Saw, this one needs more help." Bandon said...

Selena followed Bandon and airien.
"Whats wrong? Memories?" she inquired, thinking back to her studies on the mind.
"Maybe...she is a reincarnation of somebody?" she asked, doubtful.
