Old storyline; locked

Hakw stood up. He had..won...against a Norn.
The spectators were speechless. Then they erupted into cheers, and picked Hawke up.
"Take me to the Flameseer! And my friends!" He called.
The norn obeyed.

Cibhi did not follow everyone else.Instead he went towards the Hospital Wing,where Heiwa had been taken.
"Excuse me..."He said to a nurse he met"Where is Heiwa,or The Red Knight?"She pointed towards a bed in a corner,and he thanked her before walking over to it.
Heiwa was laid on the bed with bandages over his stomach and on his arm.The daggers had been removed,cleaned,and put on the desk next to Heiwa for later reclaiming.
"Ah.The king visits a lowly man of another kingdom in the sickbed.And to what do I owe the honor?"He said.
"First;Are you okay?"Cibhi replide.Heiwa nodded."Good.Second;that armour you wear.You are obviously not the Red Knight of Corbep.You do not look like him,plus he was a normal human...who are you?"
"I am the Norn that killed him,and claimed his armour and title,as was custom in the area around my village."He said"The bodie was taken by some of the...darker people on our side to use in rituals.So,tell me,why are you here?"

Optimarus dragged Airien from the room, and led her back to the double doors.
A roaring sound could be heard now, and the corridor was notcieably hotter.
He began, once again, to chant.

Bossimich got up from the bodies. He looked around and he saw no escape exept for up. He gathered the bodies and piled them up, it took alot of time and patience to do it. Finnaly he was able to get out of the pit and he saw a patrol walking by. He jumped into the shadows and waited for a single guard to come across. One did and Bossimich ambushed him and broke his neck. He stripped the body of his uniform and put it on. He now resembled a guard. He walked along a patrol path intil he found the destroyed exit. Then he bolted. Guards started after him, when he tried to escape and he only killed two. He got out into the daylight and dived into the water.

He sunk straight to the bottom. He then took of the armour so he would float and he swam to the boat and escaped. Several arrows were stuck in his body, but he did not care. He had got to get to the others...

Airien went without a fight, she could not see that there was a way to resist this time.

Optimarus finished chanting, and the doors swung open. The guards scattered.
He dragged Airien in, and the doors began to swing closed.
It was a vast cavern, with holes in the ground. Occaisionally a sput of hot water, or worse, lava would shoot up. At the far end a pool of lava lay underneath a outcrop of rock. In the middle was a large rock.
As Optimarus approached, the rock raised itself out of the pool and revealed itself to be the head of a gigantic creature. Perhaps it was an elemental, perhaps not; but it was hungry, and mad.

Optimarus flung Arien onto the outcrop, and back away, watching from the sides.

Salvanar and Izath were on their way to the battle.

"I blame you for this, Izath!" Salvanar yelled. "I told you to get well rested, not fall asleep!"
Izath smiled. "Fine, if you need speed, I'll give you speed!" He picked up Salvanar in one hand and ascended to near speed of sound. "This is as fast as I can go without tearing you apart." He said.

Bandon finnaly burst into the throne room shouting. "Golden Mask?! Where are you? You suicidal Bast*rd?! Come show yourself!"" Bandon then continued to go round creating as much carnage as possible. Guards appeared and he screamed at them in his distorted tone "Where is that fool?!" He then charged. slicing them apart with his axe. "Don't you understand puny mortals?! I am unstoppable!" He rubbed his new jaw, taken off of an unlucky guard. He heard talking and Bandon hid. Two guards walked in chatting. Bandon only heard parts of the conversation. "...Yeah that was the most fun I ever had..." "Shame that she is pretty much dead." They both then laughed and Bandon came out. "You called down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind." Bandon said then he charged...

The guards lie on the floor dead with distorted, tortured faces with their swords stabbed in their mouths. Bandon walked on to find his nemisis...

Airien backed away from the monstrous creature. It lunged at her, she jumped back and slipped, the creature also slipped, and then, a blast of water threw her into the air, along with the creature which snapped at her, just missing. The creature fell, screeching and hit a very large cluster of stalactites, effectively killing it, it was pure luck. Airien was more lucky as to where she landed and landed right infront of Optimarus. She scrambled up and backed up against a wall, near the door she stood there, back to the wall facing the Golden Mask.

A large star appeared in the sky over the battle. Izath the Executor was flying overhead, waiting for the chance to strike. Salvanar was already below, hiding, waiting for Izath's "spectacular" entrance.

Five minutes later, Izath struck. He roared and smashed vertically down to the ground, beasm of ultraviolet pitting the area where he moved. One crash later, and Izath had turned several enemies into dust from the explosion. As light roared from his body violently, he turned his face towards the approaching baddies.

"Don't come too close, you might get sunburn!" He bellowed. He smashed his hands into the ground and ripped out an axe made of light, and a shield made likewise. "Meet Aehilo, and Maenilos. They will be sending you on a one way trip to the abyss beyond!"

Salvanar was hidden nearby. "If Izath keeps this up I'm gonna have to desummon him." Salvanar popped out, zapping the opponents, and he grabbed and pulled away Izath. "Listen, Mr. Immortal, those guys happen to be servants of the golden mask! Now please stop doing rediculous things or I'll put you back in your thunder orb!" Izath laughed. "I'm not thunder anymore. Putting me in there will destroy me!" Salvanar smirked. "Don't tempt me, mister." Izath's laugh suddenly went quiet. Salvanar left him with that thought.

"Don't kill me, please. Don't kill me." Airien said to Optimarus in an attempt to stay alive.

Bandon left the throne room battling his way through the halls. He lost his arm earlier to guards and he was pissed. He ran and jumped into a guard, his foot smashing the man's face to bits. He jumped off and instantly killed the man behind him. Bandon got up and he saw a strange door. It was also getting hot. Bandon started to run and encountered more guards. He got to the door and used the warhammer to start smashing it to bits. He heard Airien and Optimarius on the other side. "Golden mask!? Face me you coward! Let me in and show me that you are a man!" Bandon screamed. The door started to buckle...

Bossimich arrived at the fortress and only just realised how injured he was. He limped over to a fortress guard and asked where the king was. He was told and he ran after the king. "Sir! Sir! You have got to help Bandon!" He said to the boy-king when he got to him. "Bandon has assaulted The Golden Mask's fortress! Bandon is a gonner unless we get to him now!" He pleaded...

Optimarus stared at Airien, shocked at the death of his creature. He took out a knife and held it to her throat. However, a banging in the doors distracted him. His head snapped around, and knew somebody was attempting to get in, likely to try and kill him. He smiled. He took the knife from Airien's throat and told her to trick Bandon, and kill him.
Thne he slunk back against the rocks and cloaked himself, and became unseen.

Hawke was taken to a grand hall, where a fire was roaring in a grate. On the far side sat a huge Norn, clothed in more skins then most Norn chose to wear. He smiled at the sight of the group approaching.
"I have been expecting you. Well done on defeating the Red Knight; there are few humans who can do that." His face became solemn.
"But the only way to prevent this curse, I fear, is to kill Optimarus."

Airien stood by the door, she picked up a large and sharp rock and hid it behind her, waiting for Bandon to come through the doors. "Bandon, help me! Please, help me, Optimarus is trying to kill me. He has a knife!.." Airien then looked at where Optimarus was. She changed her voice and started speaking, sounding like Optimarus. "Shut up girl and get here, I am going to kill you and there is nothing your little lover Bandon can do about it!" Airine then laughed, Optimarus' laugh.

Bandon heared the conversation through the door and it just fueled his anger. "Argh!" Bandon screamed just as the door smashed to bits.He came running into the room just to find Airien standing there. "Where is he? Where is The Golden Mask? I am going to rip him apart." He asked, he then started around the room looking for his nemisis unknown at what his ally was about to do...

Airien crept up behind Bandon when he paused, she raised the rock up and plunged it into his neck. "He doesn't think so." She pulled the rock out of his neck and plunged it in again and again, and again.

Bandon felt something go into his neck then he heard his former friend then sharp pains again and again and again. Bandon dropped to the floor with a sharp rock stuck inside of him. He rolled onto his back and said in a weakened tone. "D-don't tell me I just wasted m-my life for you, just s-so you could betray us? I-Im sorry but that is not going to happen." Bandon struggled to his feet and when he got up he glared at his former friend. "It will take more then that to stop me." He then dropped the hammer and pulled out his chain blades. "Why?" Was all he asked...

Optimarus uncloaked, and unleashed a monstrous lightning bolt that struck Bandon square in the back. The bang sounded throughout the entire fortress. He smiled. Perhaps Airien was more useful then he had thought.

Bandon got a surge straight in the back powerful enough to show his fractured bones through what little skin he still had. He started to drop but he summoned all his will and strengh and he stayed up in the fight. Bandon turned around. "You... I am gonna kill you..." Bandon said before sending his blades towards Optimarus he then charged at him. "Have you no respect? Can you not fight honourably for once?" Bandon asked just before slicing at him multiple times. "If I had time, I would share some tips with you..." he said before cleaving at him...

Optimarus dodged, and stabbed Bnadon in the chest. His knife was specially enchanted. No qound inflicted by it would ever heal.
Optimarus snarled. Finally.

Bandon felt a sharp pain in his chest and he looked down. In the center of his chest was a enchanted knife stuck in deep. Bandon looked up at Optimarus' face and with the last of his strengh he said. "You... You.. You mother ******* are nothing, you cannot harm me. I'll resurrect every aborted baby and start an army!" He pulled the knife out of his chest and lunged at Optimarus and hit. Then Bandon dropped to the floor. Near death, Bandon asked Optimarus " Do you know what my favourite saying was for all my life? No? Well when you kill the others tell them that Bandon told them not to fear because Fear. Fear attracts the fearful… the strong… the weak… the innocent… the corrupt. Fear. Fear is my ally." Then Bandon took one last swing, hitting The Golden Mask in the leg and then he died...

Optimarus gasped in pain. It had been so long since he'd felt pain. But he still had enough skill to heal it.
His hand hovered over his wounds and a blue glow suffused the,. They still ached, but the wounds were no longer visible.
He retrieved his knife, then left to go check on the Observatory.

Airien looked down at the very dead corpse of Bandon. She sobbed slightly then looked up and saw Optimarus leaving, remembering what he had said to his guards she quickly rushed after him, following close behind him.

Bossimich and the rest of the Galloping Horde felt to their knees screaming in pain. The youngest of the horde screamed out "What is happening?!" Bossimich shouted "One of us has died. Argh. Bandon!!" Then suddenly they all stopped. They all got up and on their horses. Bossimich did a sign of a cross on his body and got on his horse. "C'mon lads! Lets avenge Bandon!" Then the Horde held their swords high and all yelled at the same time. They all started to gallop at exact pace. Grawn pulled out a bone horn and blew a war tune from it. "Remember! Fight as we do best! A complete all out battering! Fight like Barbarians!" The horde created chaos on their route to the enemies fortress...

With a shriek of tearing metal, Izath ripped aside the doors for his master. Bolts of lightning flew through the corridors.

"Avaunt, knaves, fear the wrath of the sun!" Izath yelled. Salvanar pushed in front of Izath and saw the dead body of Bandon. Izath looked down. "A shame, 'tis. Tidings of darkness are the only thing that can possibly come from this." Izath picked up his massive two handed sword and laid it on his body. "Let light guide you, friend." He picked up his shield and flung it at an escaping enemy. "Oh no you don't. Feel the wrath of liiiiiiiight!" He focused all his rage into a single blast, and the light knocked the enemy senseless. Smashing the enemy unconscious with his staff, Salvanar proceeded to hunt what he himself called a 'traitorous dog'

Izath stayed with Bandon for a while before following Salvanar in the hunt for the golden mask.
