I an I is just saying in advance, if anyone hates me and wants me to leave, then I happily would. I am used to putting everyone else's happines before mine so I would be ok with it. The only reason people hang out with me at school is because of sympathy. I am as they say, just another teenage suicide on a street with no trees. yeh, ive known about deviant art since year 10 (so that's hmm, 4 years ago now), but only joined not long ago.

Yes it is graphical I would say, but it is still art. Art can be a sculpture, paint, drawn or on the computer.

Art fails. Instead of paintign a picture of some trees, go outside and have a look at some.

i tell you what I hate. Modern Art, some of it is just splashes of paint and some people earn millions for splashes of paint and rolling a painted tennisball across paper for 20 minutes. Toddlers can do better than that when they are doodling for a start.

Agreed. i prefer older art or atleast things that look decent. Most modern art is crap agreed, but there are some real great artists who noone knows. Also art does not fail. It is relaxing and fun (Well, I think so) Also without art, we would not have pictures. Photography is a type of art. So are cartoons and anime/manga. Also you do plenty of it if you draw alot. How can it fail? Hell, even porn is a type of art. Well... In a sense...

btw the dragon paintignwas was graphicslly painted on the computer. not hand painted, its almost like concept art which is what im studying

modern art most pople think it is a load of crap, which ok i guess it is, but if you know the meaning and thought gone into it, then it's a different matter. An artists will understand more were as the general public won't.

Most modern art is to see how far they can push the barriers of art, like the dry cow cut in half but modern art usualy gets people to think what it's about rather than just seeing quality. As all artists say, quality isn't everything.

Euw. I hate manga and anime. They look retarded. I mean, look at her eyes! They are like dinner plates also the hair is just stupid as well. Also, whats with the cat ears!? They are just stupid. Also they try to make the main characters look like the most beautiful thing on earth. I hate that, they should try and make them look like an average person.

they're horns, not cat ears and yeh all anime looks typically the same with big hair and massive eyes and no it isn't another "another japenese porny pokemonish thing", it's nothing like that. It's a pretty nasty anime as well, the woman has 5 invisible razer sharp hands which she slices and kills people with (pretty gory)
