lol erm to keep you preoccupied with something, you can alwasy do my work? lol only joking, what u should do is takes pictures, draw somethings, clean around the house or your room, just sit and think/ imagine the things your gonna do in the future, make up wierd creatures, go on Spore etc

No, I mean make a virtual simulation that could be a haven. You feel everything from pain to pleasure. Stuff like that. Make you think that you are in a different world.

I have a suspicion that wouldn't be allowed by several governments. they would people firmly fixed in this reality, so that they can vote for them.

What's to say that I won't be doing this in my own free time
Also, if it is successful, why would the goverment need voters? Just hop in, load up his reality and then bingo! He is in heaven! He could have everything he wants.

There are some things I havnt tried actually. Porn for one but I can't be bothered with that.
