Old storyline; locked

Airien came out of the shadows, her eyes glowing strangely. She approached Optimarus and stood beside him.
"Two have come, they seek to end this war and destroy you, you know them, you controlled one of them once and the other, the other is new, she does not know what she is getting into." Airien said to Optimarus.

Optimarus narrowed his eyes. How did she know? Perhaps she was blessed with Sight. By any means, he knew she wasn't lying to him. But...
It must be Xu. And a little...girlfriend? He laughed silently to himself.
Let's give them a reminder of who they're dealing with.
He raised his arms and began a long dark incantation. A gigantic storm began to form, with the Observatory at it's center. It grew and grew, and the eye of the storm was directly over Optimarus. Whenever he moved, the eye moved.
He smiled. The mountains were very dangerous during a storm. Espescially if there happened to be...
Avalanches.

"There is also one climbing up the mountain side." Airien said, then a creepy smile came onto her face slightly, "He won't last long."

Shadowstep arrived at the bridge, his blade bloody from killing people on his way. He dropped of the horse and he dived into the water and swam to the island. "You must be Bandon the Gold mask is on the mountain where the storm is." The skeleton pointed at the mountain and Shadowstep nodded and started his death's sprint. He danced between the enemies slicing them to ribbons. He looked up and rolled forwards narrowly missing a boulder. He then sprant to the cliff face and started to climb. He was greatful for his agility and telekinisis. he was able to pull himself with his powers. He knew where his nemysis is and he will not stand for the rest of the night. Shadowstep told himself...

Hawke looked down to see a big man also climbing, considerably faster then himself.
Fortunately he wasn't to far from the top, but this unnatural storm was slowing him down alot.
Another mini rockslide charged down the moutnaisde near him. He just hoped an avalanche wouldn't get him. He continued to climb.
Bang!
A roll of thunder, and a lightning bolt, split the night. And then another rumbling sound began.
Avalanche!
He looked around auickly. Only had a few seconds...
He leapt at a tiny cave in the side of the rock. He fell into it just as hundreds of tonnes of snow roared at several hindred miles an hour over the cave's lip.
He hoped the other man would be alright...

"They approach. Another one attempt to reach here, it seeks revenge for something that never happened to it." Airien said, her eyes and face seemed sort of distant.

Shadow step increased his speed, he could see the avalanch coming down upon him and he started to leap like a cat between the stone and rock. He only just reached a small hole in the face of the cliff. he jumped in and the avalanch came past him. It ceased fast and Shadowstep was back to climbing. He just narrowly missed being shot by arrows. "Use your telekinisis, champion, grab the rocks and pull yourself up..." He heard in his mind and he did just that, doubling his speed...

Izath and Salvanar watched the avalanche.

"Can you fly down?" Salvanar asked. Izath slapped him. "Are you mad!? In this weather!?" He yelled.

Izath looked across the horizon. "It's too late to climb down the mountain. I guess we'll have to try falling instead. Jump off, I'll catch you once at the bottom." Salvanar nudged towards the edge. "No way, Izath!" But before Salvanar could stop him, Izath had pushed him off. "Yes way, Salvanar."

As salvanar fell, He plunged his staff into the sides. Like a roaring beam of light, Izath tore him away from the walls and plummeted down. "I told you NOT to stop!" Izath shouted. Salvanar simply looked at him. "Do you honestly expect me to fall god knows how far and trust you to catch me!?"

Xu and Coralie ventured close to the Observatory.

Xu whispered to Coralie,
"If he's trying to hide...Why does he cause a Storm to brew wherever he stands "

Coralie replied,
"I guess even Evil Dark Leaders make mistakes.."

They noticed that there was an Open Window, strangely, Xu peered over..Before jumping in to investigate more. Coralie stayed at the top, to watch out for any Danger...

Shadowstep was making fast progress towards the summit. Many small rockfalls and loose snow slow him down though. He could clearly see another cave and a man inside and he readed his sword to cut him down. ".. No! Don't you even dare! He is an ally, leave him be..." Shadowstep was not fond of Bandon but he did as he wished and he did not attack Hawke but instead he carried on climbing. It took him 2 hours to get to where he was but it was quick compared to what Hawke was doing...

Izath and Salvanar were now approaching the observatory. The Elemental watched the others coming towards it. "Our allies are making good progress, however some are falling behind." He said. Salvanar looked through the bitter cold to the summit. "Looks like some are closer than you think. We had better get moving." He concluded. The elemental bowed his head. "I am in agreement. Let us make our final march. We will meet whomever that is and rally the group for the final attack."

Airien turned. "So the pair have arrived. They seek his downfall, I won't let you do that." She put a hand behind her back and drew forth a yellow rubber duck. "Face the power of the rubber duck!" With that she threw the rubber duck at Xu, grabbed a saber and leapt forward, ready to fight.

Optimarus spun around. His storm had indeed attracted attention from the so called heroes of Grennendia, as many hailed them now. After many decades of moving little, speaking little, and feeling little, Optimarus was bored more then the mind could take.
He smiled, and drew his sword in readiness. Along it's blade, flames flickered, shadows moved, and it gave a sense of watching, as if it were alive. Into the hilt was carved two symbols; on one side, a skull, the other a star. This was intended to represent the balance of light and dark, but since it had come into Optimarus' possesion the dark had grown considerably stronger, though the light power in it was still strong.
He grinned. How he longed for a fight; now he had one.

Xu was shocked at the Appearance of the Rubber Duck.
He pulled out his Fork and began to eat it.
"Yummy! This is better than Pizza!!" Xu said, before getting up, Seeing Airien holding a Knife.

"Waa-Waaa-Woof?!" He said, his mouth full of Rubber...

Shadowstep finnaly got to the top and did an impressive acrobatics move onto the top. He then stood in a regal manner and drew a sword. He then walked up to Optimarus and cracked his neck. He then did a head notion possibly meaning: Bring it!

Airien's saber moved backwards and forwards slightly, ready to slash very quickly or parry just as quickly. "Bring it mage." She said to Xu, moving forwards slightly.

"Airien! Whats Wrong?!" he said, just before he dodged one of her attacks.
He fired an Energy Pulse at her, missing, and hitting the floor...

Optimarus spun with incredible speed, swinging his sword, using the momentum from his spun making it a lethal attack aimed at Shadowstep's head. Meanwhile, a ball of energy formed around his fist.

Shadowstep dodged with ease, flipping out of the way and send his blade downwards to Optimarus' fist. He then proceded to fight in dance like movements. His blade flowed through the air magestically. Shadowstep was taking his time on this one...

Airien fought gracefully, she spun around, dodging the ballof energy that was aimed towards the floor, she spun quickly as well, Her blade shot through the air as she finished her spin straight at Xu's shoulder. Not intending to cut deep in, but to put a cut in and draw blood.

Optimarus parried each attack equally easily. Was this, after 37 years of going without a single proper battle, all he was to be granted? He released the ball of energy, and fired off 6 magical attacks, each based off a different element; fire, lightning, water, light, earth and the most powerful one, darkness.
Then he suddenly leapt, a seemingly impossible distance to the other end of the Observatory to where Airien and Xu battled, and swung his sword at the girl who had arrived with Xu.

Xu turned, hearing Coralie screem.

"Stay away from her!!!" He shouted at the top of his voice.
His body began to light up, a bright, shining, brilliant blue. He charged most of his energy into a single beam, which fired straight at Optimarus...

Shadowstep easily dodged and used his telekinisis to send him over on top of Optimarus, sword first. Shadowstep was toying with his foe with his Danse Macabre even if he did thirst for blood. Even if it is stagnent...

Airien just missed Xu's shoulder when he turned. She stopped spinning suddenly and thrust at Xu's suddenly exposed back. Aiming to slide her saber through his side, where his ribs didn't protect him.

The Saber wen't simply straight Xu. His body has bee converted into pure Energy, It cannot be destroyed at this stage. As soo as Airien slashed, "Vines" of energy wrapped around her saber, at were spreading to Airien Herself...
