Old storyline; locked

Airien pulled her blade back and stepped away, leaving the vines to evaporate. She danced away from Galox towards Optimarus and Shadowstep and launched a series of Lightening fast, small in sweep, attacks at Shadowstep, not to bite deep into him, but to draw blood. These attacks were at Shadowstep's head.

Shadowstep's head connected with a few of Airien's strikes but luckily he was wearing a helm and the attacks did not puncture it. He reverted his full attention to Airien aswell as Optimarus and pulled out a second sword one in each hand. His attacks became more intrecate in pattern and were more graceful but deadly like before...

Optimarus shook Shdaowstep off, and absorbed the energy into his hand, releasing it at the girl She seemed to be Xu's weak spot.


Hawke finally climbed over the edge of the mountain top onto the Observatory. He lay panting for a while. He could see his friends battling but was too exhausted to get up.

Airien spun her saber in her hand and attacked Shadowsteps neck with the same slicing attacks. Her wrist flickering with speed of her blade.

Heiwa was struck over the head by Verraidor's staff,knocking him out instantly.
"It's just you and me King.You and me."Verraidor said."How will you win now?"
"I dunno."Cibhi said"I mostly make this up as I go along."And put a swirl of fire around him,whipping out at Verraidor,who blocked each hit with his staff.
"Hah!That didn't work before,why would it work now!"
"Because."Cibhi said"It's not meant to."
"Blcok this."Said a voice behind Verraidor.Before he could turn,a sword was shoved through his chest,straight through his vital organs and ribcage.
"Uhh..."Said Verraidor quietly"Empartheus...I...Sor..."He never finished,his eyes went dull and as Heiwa pulled his sword back out,his staff fell out of his hand.
"Good feign there."Said Cibhi"But your hand kept a tight clench on your sword,might wanna not do tha-"And the sphere shook.Without anyone controlling the enchantments of the staff,the tower was collapsing,straight into the side of the Observatory,just next to Hawke's cave.

Shadowstep laughed at his foes. The woman was fun to try and kill, but that was not his goal. He dodged the blades and lunged back then he flipped hoping his heel would connect with his enemies face. He then twirled and went over to Hawke and lifted him up to his feet. He also nodded to his foes beckoning him to join the fun...

Coralie generated a Shield just in time. It swolen around her like a Ball, flinging her off the observatory window. She landed on a Promptly placed metal arena, where she made a rather large Crater. Inside, she was unconscious, but alive. The Shield would hold up for a little longer...

Meanwhile, Xu was on the floor. All this energy was rendering him weak. He turned back into his normal self, and stood up weakly. With all his remaining energy, he generated a blast force so huge that the Observatory was struggleing to cope with the stress. When the dust cleared, Xu was motionless on the floor...

Airien swerved to the side, just missing the heel that came within an inch of her face, she spun again, and moved gracefully, yet quickly over to where Shadowstep was and sliced again at his neck. She kept an eye on Shadowstep and on Hawke as well.

Optimarus put down his quickly activated shield. Xu did indeed have powerful magic, but Optimarus was stronger.
He looked around as more people arrived. Only one thing for it...
Optimarus rammed his sword into the ground, shouting and incantation;
"Let no barrier between us lie, release the fire, let in the sky!" He shouted, infusing his voice with magic.
His sword stopped flickering, and lost the feeling of watching. Then with a great woosh of air the elementals bound into it poured out, finally free from the weapon, but still forced to do their master's bidding.
"Kill them!" He shouted.

A whirring beam of light crept into the Observatory. Izath shot into the room, followed by Salvanar. "Sorry we're late, but flying wasn't an option" Izath said. He looked at Optimarus. "Finally, the heathen will taste the cold embrace of light."

Toro had just jumped off the edge before the avalanch hit him, calling Koroa while he did it. He landed in a conviniently soft bit of snow, despite the drop being 30 meters. Probably natural Lorian magical energy he thought, but doubted it.
He could see, that all the action was happening at the observatory at the summit.
"KOROA!" He shouted, and the mighty Koroa flew with Toro through the piercing ice and heavy snow whiping them. It was hard, but he knew that the battle next would be worse than anything he had already come across.

Izath summoned his lightr shield and Pulled Eviscerator for the ground. This was different from his two handed sword- it was a Scythe.

"Cower in fear, Optimarus. Tonight, your flesh will feed the hungry. All of us here are about to make you into mincemeat. Fool, you let your chances slip from your hands, and now your life is about to be no more. We will destroy you...each and every one of us."

Shadowstep was to busy duelling Airien to notice what was going on around him. He dodged an elemental and jumped on it, crushing it's small skull. He got off the fading corpse and twirled through the force of elementals slicing them to where Optimarus was and started his Danse Macabre with him.

Optimarus laughed as Shadowstep danced, and called several more Elementals to his aid.
He leapt over to the telescope.
The Meteor...was in range!
His face lit up with excitement. He quickly pushed soem buttons and pulled some levers.
The lense extended, and a strange apparatus came out of it. It began to hum.

Izath shoved aside one of the elementals and carved into another with Eviscerator. "Please, You young elementals know nothing about initiating combat. Whoever your master is, he should be ashamed of you." Izath stared mockingly at Optimarus before moving on to another. Salvanar stood in the path of an elemental and screamed at it. The elemental turned to him, and he belted it with his staff. Izath got behind it and blasted it with light.

"You gotta love ganging up on people." Salvanar smiled.

Shadowstep used his telekinisis to send the elementals away from him, one even fell of the cliff. Shadow sprinted into the observatory and smashed the console with his mace, he turned and whispered. "Games over." to Optimarus before stabbing at him.

Cibhi and Heiwa stepped out of a hole in the steel ball,halfway up the mountain.
"Damn...we'll never get up in time."Cibhi said."It's too far..."
"The mountain may be steep."Heiwa said."But the wrecked insides of the cage are not.We could climb up them,we'll be much closer to the top then."
"Good point.Let's go."

Optimarus shoved the stab away with ease.
"Too late, Dancer. It's already activated. And, guess what; It's indestructible." He laughed and slashed while sending a few lightning bolts flying randomly.
"guess you shouldn't have destroyed the control panel." He laughed.

"Shall I burn him?" Izath asked. Salvanar looked at him. "No, you sadistic maniac." Izath looked at him with almost puppy eyes. "Pweeease!" He said. Salvanar almost facepalmed.

Airien saw Shadow facing off with Optimarus and had followed him, she circled round so she would be coming at his side. "Take two." SHe said simply then launched another attack, again, fast and furious, going for Shadow's neck.

The meteor was fairly close, incinerated the snow above making it easier for Koroa. They sped up at the chance. Stopped just before reaching it.
Toro jumped upon the observatory, Koroa following. Toro didn't know who to attack. There were elementals, but they could be good. He decided to wait until someone noticed him...and attacked him.

Shadowstep ducked with ease, the blade going straight above him. He then rolled underneath Airien's legs and booted her straight in the back. He got up and twirled his blades around forming a whirling shield of steel. He then proceded to walk closer and closer and if they get caught in the blades, they would be completly ripped apart...

Izath was fed up of doing nothing. "Time to light up this world!" He yelled, and started glowing brightly. He flashed the rays in the direction of Optimarus. "I wonder if this technique can blind him a little..."

Airien used the kick to vault upwards, flip and spin then land ready again. "Hm, not bad." She commented on hsi attack. She simply slashed both his hands across the fingers and knuckles, and slashed hard.

Xu awoke again from his "sleep". Optimarus..was...still...alive?!
Xu thought Coralie was Dead. This time, he was sure of it. When he found her shield, he thought he was in luck. When he opened it, he, however, his luck seemed to turn. She was absolutely motionless. He held her hand, looknig for any signs of life...none....
