Xu looked around the Inn. He saw a short man dressed in expensive-looking coloured clothing. He looked wrong in a place like this...
Xu decided againts an drink, always need to be on high alert, especially with all the visions...

The man looking for the child took the bait. Bandon walked down the stairs and at the same time he shouted in a demonic tone "It took you a while to get here, if I was'nt as patient as I am, he would be dead!" Bandon reached the ground floor of the inn and all conversation stopped in the building. Tonight is going to be fun...

Hawke also booked an inn at Minduir. What he didn't know was that it was the same as Cibhi. He had pointedly not said anything when he recgonised the child as the boy who was wanted for theft. After, he himself was public enemy number 23 in Corbep, and 17 in Ao Seruld. Luckily, he knew a little something about disguise, psychology and blending in, and he'd been alright so far.
He thought, theft is no life for a boy of, what, 12? 14? And, he had so much money now, and he didn't even spend it. It was more a way of keeping count.
Perhaps he didn't need all of it.
He knew the child was in Minduir- he'd ask around if he had been seen.
When he asked the landlord at the inn, he said;"Oh yeah... there's a boy just like that booked in not long ago. Didn't seem old enough to me, but money is money. Room 17."
Hawke took a bag of money, hidden in his coat pocket, to room 17 and knocked on the door.
"Excuse me..."

Xu turned around, shocked by the sudden "intrusion" of this person...

Salvanar turned. "So you are my nemesis. Cower fiend! I am under the command of Old Thunderlord, greatest elemental of this age! Release chibhi or the suffering you shall recieve will never be satiated!"

He raised his staff, and as he drew it, he started glowing. "Thunder is your master, wretch!"

Xu was truly shocked by this. He had figured out now that this was the person sending the messages...
He stood up from his stool and stood by the Short, rich man.

"Whats going on?!"

"Ha! Look at that stick! I serve no master and my empty threats seem to work! Ha how pathetic, I don't have the boy, he is in his room, he walked right past me and did not notice! Fool! I hope that Tulak sent you my regards?" Bandon was in a rather happy mood, nothing is going to stop him tonight...

Cibhi awoke with a start,and groaned.He had almost been asleep.He recognised that voice...He got up and went to the door.
"Who is it?"He said"Be warned,if you are here to rob me I have fire magic of a strong power,do not cross me."

Salvanar was furious. "You dare to mock me!?" Just as a fight was about to start, Salvanar was shoved aside like a fly. There was Old Thunderlord.

"Fighting is unnecessary. This will end now."

He looked at Bandon. "All of a sudden fate is not on your side. Hand over the child....now."

Salvanar went to attack bandon, but was once again swatted to the floor like a garden pest.

"I said sit down, Lorian!" Thunderlord Remarked.

"Ha! Is everyone soo nieve these years? I have been outcasted off this rock since before the end of the war and I return to find everyone idiotic and a bit daft?! I do not have the child!" Bandon was unnafraid of a living light nor his new pet...

Old Thunderlord put his face right up to Bandon. "For your sake, mortal, let's hope you are telling the truth."

He turned round. "Salvanar, if there is any fighting, I will kill you both. Make no mistake, I care not whether you suceed or fail. I will destroy you both. Find the child. I will be nearby should you succeed."

Salvanar got up, and warily got on his way. He could barely trust that giant thunder beast.

Bandon was right near the stairs and he was getting bored. "You think you scare me little flashlight?! Ha idiot, you should have learned last time you daft floating ball of energy! Nothing scares me and I am not one to die to anyone!" Bandon pulled out his axe ready to cleave through anything.

Old Thunderlord laughed. "Go ahead, fly. Swing your miserable stick. When your arms collapse from the exertion, I hope you'll learn from your mistakes."

Meanwhile, Salvanar was still searching for the child.

"I am not here to rob you.." called Hawke,"Quite the opposite." Hawke, didn't bother to ask the boy to open the door, since he had already finished picking the lock, and now pushed the door open.

"Leave your empty threats for someone else, if I survived your last wrath, I will survive it again! You are a dumb fool, I really hoped that the Firelord would have put you back in place!" Bandon was finding this very amusing.

Cibhi looked at the man with a half-annoyed,half-inquisitive stare.
"You?The man lugging the chests?"He sighed."So,why are you after me?I highly doubt it's for the good of my health.Did he send you?"He added angrily.

Thunderlord looked at this madman. Bandon was either mighty brave, or insanely stupid.

"I question your sanity, creature. This has gone on far enough. Salvanar! follow me! I will take you to chibhi. Leave this fool to his own devastation."

"Did who send me?" Hawke said, puzzled. "No..I came of my own accord. And i cam to give you this."
Hawke spilled the coins onto the table.
"I know you are a thief...It's not a great life. Trust me- I know. Your story is the same as mine only one stage behind. Its for you- maybe you can make something of yourself. Also, i would get out of here if I were you- there's quite a commotion downstairs, and I heard your name once or twice."

"Be my guest, ignorant scum! I have no fear, more than 500 years in existance taught me that lesson!"Bandon was getting rather bored and so he sliced a dwarve straight in half.

Behind Hawke was Thunderlord. "ahem, would you mind excusing me, My friend has some urgent meeting with this child."

Salvanar appeared behind, still not trusting of the Thunderlord.

Hawke took one look at the great thunder creature beside him, and came to an instant decision.
He grabbed cibhi's hand, pulled an amulet from around his neck, and said, "I don't think so. This child will not be subject to you!"
He shouted a word, and both he and Cibhi were teleported to a stone room. There was a dwarf in there, who looked up in surprise.
"Ah, Hawke. I wondered if you would come."

Cibhi was startled.
"What on earth...A TELEPORTATION amulet?"He said,staring in disbelief at Hawke"How did you get THAT?"He looked round"And...Where are we?"

Salvanar looked at Thunderlord. "These quests will never be done with all these interruptions." He said sadly.

Thunderlord looked at him. "No. They are already complete."
Salvanar blanked over "....what?"
Thunderlord laughed. "You have shown yourself to be a hero, willing to do much to save their kind. I will accept this as proof you are ready." The Gient elemental siezed Salvanar, and raised him into the air. Powerful storms struck Salvanar with fury and power, at many times Salvanar believed that Thunderlord was killing him. Thunderlord himself was chanting so loud the city heard his words clearly. When salvanar was finally released, Thunderlord was gone.

"Somewhere far beneath the Dwarf Halls. No one is getting here unelss they know exactly where we are, and the dwarves let them- which isnt likely."
He walked over to the Dwarf, and knelt.
"This is Havar, the last Dwarf King. He recently abdicated, and he is a family friend. It is good to see you."
"Likewise, Hawke." Havar bowed. He turned to Cibhi. "I gave the amulet to Hawkes grandfather, who passed it on to his mother, who passed it onto Hawke. It is pretty much the only one in existence- perhaps a few others are there."
Hawke looked at Cibhi as well. "It seems you are not safe; others are searching for you, but this is quite possibly the safest place in grennendia."

Salvanar looked at his palm. There was a black tattoo. It was an ancient Elementine symbol, saying 'Stormfront'. He closed his eyes and said the word. appearing next to him was a thunder elemental. "Greetings. I am Izalth the Executor. I am your minion, serving you until death." salvanar was amazed! This was the reward for taming the power of lightning! A Thunder Elemental! If only Salvanar could tell Chibhi to hone his fire powers. Chibhi could Summon Great Firelord, and have his fire minion!
