Usually what I remember it as back in school was:
Nasty people who are bullies
In-the-middle people
People who don't care
people who do care
the 'cool' guys who always are complete .... at sports
the boffs who think they're better than everyone else
non-clever people (always get referred to in school as the thickos in a thicko class..)
