"We need to go the Norn Mountains. Everything there is dying." Said Hawke.
Selena approached, and agreed. "It won't be long. It's been happening for a while, but most didn't notice it or thought nothing of it. All the creatures and plants there are dying; so will the Dwarves, and the Norn." She said.


Optimarus sat back in his throne. An astroseer, the new term for those that look through the telescopes, was at his feet, kneeling.
"So you're certain; it will totally wipe everything out?" He said.
The Astroseer nodded. "Totally."
Optimarus nodded. "Good. You may go."
He thought about the mountains. His curse was powerful indeed, and it grew in power with time. Now it would be almost unstoppable; like a ball rolling down a snow covered hill, it grows and grows and doesn't stop until there is no snow left. When all the life is gone.

Coralie rode into Loranolis, Lorians jumping out of the way to avoid being Trampled.
She reached the City Centre, shouting for wherever there might be a hospital or Healing room. They found one in an old, short tree which had been carved out to form a room. Lorian's were Expert healers, and made almost anything they found in the forest into a Medicine. The Healer placed a hand over where the Arrow hit...

"He has several broken ribs. He's extremely lucky that it didn't hit any vital organs."

He then looked at his shoulder and Arm...

"His Humerous has been pushed severely into is Shoulder, causing a lot of Internal Bleeding." He then Sighed.
"He also has a few broken fingers."

A tear fell down Coralies cheek,
"Will he be Okay?" she Asked.

"We'll have to wait and see." he responded...

"Regardless of whether anyone else is going, I am. I quite like the idea of saving Grennendia for a third time." said Hawke, and he began to walk in the direction of the Norn Range.

"I'm going too."Cibhi said,getting up and following"It might help make peace with the Norns if they see a Lorian saving them.Optimarus can just wait."

"I will join you" said Toro, wandering over. "I have nothing else to do, and like Hawke said, we'll be saving grennendia...again."

"Hmm... Me and the horde will follow either that or we could go after Optimarius. Your choice. If we go after him, take my elite soldiers with you." bandon replied and bossimich rode up to them. "Well captain, where to?" He said in a sarcastic tone of voice..

Izath pondered this. He nodded. "I like this idea, he said." Salvanar was chasing after him. "Hey, Mr. light elemental, it isn't nice to just appear out of thin air, you know." Izath smiled. "You gotta love the ability to move at the speed of light." Salvanar laughed sarcastically. "Well, I don't. Do you have any idea how hard it is to keep up?" Izath smiled.

He turned to the group. "What's the plan?"

"I think we're all going to the mountains." Toro said, "They're turning barren, and the golden mask should be there" He gulped after that.

Hawke had been walking while the others were talking. It's all very well to discuss it, but actions speak louder then words.

Hawke had been walking for aages. He wanted a rest, and a drink...The Fortress of Malanis was in sight, but still quite a way away, it seemed..

Xu awoke in the Middle of the night, in the Hospital.

He gasped for Air,but soon felt the pain too much to make much of a noise.
Coralie walked over to his side, she Couldn't sleep.

"Xu.."
"Coralie..." he replied.

"I thought.."
"I thought I'd lost you, too!" she replied, before he finished. (Awww. )

Cibhi had been walking silently behind Hawke,brooding.He had emerged from that Forest alot quieter.
"So."He said"How're we gonna stop this thing then?Shove Xu into another pool of water?"

Hawke shook his head.
"After the last time, the Mask won't allow that. Besides, I doubt he's poisoned the mountains; too much water. I feel the only way he could do this is by magic. A curse most likely." He said. He had a depressed feeling. "We could try and counter it; but this the Mask. He's so magical he could wipe the floor with all of us put together. We'll have to find another way."

Bandon was walking a bit behind Hawke and the rest. He was to busy talking with the horde, sharing adventures and the like. They come from a faraway land not even on the map. "So what are we supposed to do?" Said Bossimich specificly asking Hawke. "Do we go with you, or do we march over to the Golden Mask?" Tulak was uneasy travelling with the horde.. They seemed to... evil. He did'nt even trust Bossimich anymore...

Hawke thought about it.
"Come with us. The norn won't take us seriously, even with the king of corbep. However, they do understand and respect strength, and fighting ability. That's where you come in. With a powerful horde, the Norn will respect us, and hopefully work with us." He said.
He felt himself changed; he was more assertive, more confident. It was that forest. It always changed people; sometimes for the better, usually for the worse. It seems he'd been one of the lucky ones.

Toro trailed behind the others, with the sea serphent plodding along, happily amusing itself, like some contented dragons often do. He remembered back about 7 months ago, when his uncle died, and his dragon which the name he couldn't remember. Back further when his parents left him for the last time, going out to war...never reterning. Those times were sad...but if he died, he knew that he'll see them again. But his farther always told him to go as far as life wants you. Never give up. Those words affected Toro somehow, giving him strenth....but fear.

"Yeah but thats cheating, we are undead, We have been around since before a great dragon that roamed around. Gariah What was that delightful lizard's name?" "I don't know Bandon, hang on, was that not the one that killed your wife?" "Yes it was, do not remind me about it please?" "Ok sorry." The horde went silent and Bossimich took off his helmet. His face was more degraded then Bandon's most of it was just skull, parts were even missing. "So we are just for show?" Bandon asked. Tulak ran up to the king and Hawke. "You sure we can trust them? They look barbaric and evil. I don't like it, also if they are just as tough as Bandon then if they get out of hand...." Tulak trailed off...

Hawke wasn't sure.
"Yes...just for show...but that's not a bad thing!" He said hurriedly. Hawke was in fact wishing that the undead hordes would choose to leave. He had a feeling they might mess up at an important point.

Cibhi's eyes were half closed,when he felt a small buzz near his hip.He looked,and saw his bag humming slightly.He opened it,and pulled out the bottle,which was vibrating manicaly,like a swarm of angry wasps.He opened it,and it started to froth.He closed the bottle,and watched.
Nothing happened.
He sighed,and put to bottle back into his bag as it slowly stopped vibrating.
"How long are we walking for?"He said.

"To the fortress of Malanis. It's closer then it looks. We'll be there in about..15 minutes." He said.
He turned to the undead. "Come with us if you wish; we can manage without you. But otherwise, you will not be able to protect Grennendia against the Mask."

"Hmm. Ok fine. This is going to be boring... When we get there can we stir up a bit of fun?" "Yeah! Great idea, Gariah! Maybe you could go without your helmet!" Bossimich takes the helmet off of Gariah and starts playing catch with another horde member. "Oi man! Not funny! Give me that!" "Settle down you 3! Give him the helmet." Bandon said and Bossimich did as he was told. "Hmm.. hey you, Hawke isnt it? Why dont you duel a norn or something, just to show that we are stronger then them? It will also gain their respect."
Tulak was looking uneasy. he did not like how this is going to end...

Hawke shifted. "It's much easier not too. The Norn are powerful; it's what kept them alive so long." He lowered his voice so only tulak, Cibhi and Bandon could hear. "But, if the hordes for some reason muck it up, then thats the second option."

Toro, hearing what Hawke had said, agreed that the Horde were uneasy going.
"I'm scared of them." Toro said without the hordes hearing. Koroa didn't like the look of them too, and if they caused trouble...trouble they'll get.

"I don't know why you are so scared of them. The only reason I am not a part of The Galloping Horde is because I turned evil, they were still the good guys. But the youngest, Nahna looks a bit shifty for some reason." Bandon said he looked behind his shoulder and saw the horde sharing jokes and laughing. "Look see! They can't possibly be evil! They have too good a humor."

Nahna kept on figiting, he looked really distracted for somereason. "Hey whats the matter?" Asked Bossimich. "I don't know... I feel like we have a traitor in our midst." He replied, slowly looking around...

Airien was riding hard, she was approaching the mountains but she didn't notice the soldiers following her. One of them rose in his stirrups like a well trained cavalry man, he was hoding a bow, nocked as well. He aimed and released in one fluid movement and the arrow flew true, it hit Airien through the shoulder. The arrow was poisonned and the poison quickly did its job, rendering her unconcious, she slid sideways out of her saddle and hit the ground. The horse galloped on, without her. The group of soldiers came along, picked her up and headed off in the direction of their masters base...
