OH YES! This will be Guild wars 2 discussion thread, the sequel to the four orignal guild wars campaigns. This, ladies and gentlemen, is quite possibly the best trailer I have ever seen (Because it's for guild wars 2):
There will be five playable races: Humans
Norn who i unfortuantely can't find a good picture of.
Asura: Who i based the lorians off.
Sylvari Charr
I cannot wait for this game, i may be sad, but i don't freakin care. I WANT THIS GAME!

Do you need any of the other Guildwars to play this??? I might, might (big might) get it...
I do have to admit it is a very good trailer and the scene with the opening gates and teh two dragon heads, I had a picture called Dragon Alley, that was it in a concept art form

my dream is to do concept art work at that quality! The trailer and game looks absolutely incredible! It really does, I'm def gonna get it when i get my new pc

It is awesomne. The guild wars team say that: It's designed to look incredible and to work on mid-range computers. There is no monthly payment. Its a full sequel, so you don't need any of the older guild wars games, though it'd help alot with the storyline if you knew about the original Guild wars, i think. No confrimed release date, ArenaNet just say that it'll come out when it's finished. And yes, the Asura WILL RULE THE WORLD!
Ahem. Yes, it's an awesome trailer. When the graphics change, at about 2:07- that's actual ingame footage. There will be an underwater continent also, and events- Say you are walking along a road, you might encounter a fortress being attacked by centaurs, which you can help out with, Or perhaps the fortress was taken half an hour earlier and is now held by the centaurs. It will be epic.

i LOVE the field part! and also the river with a bridge and the hilly grass area around it looks sooo real fantasy like, i lvoe that stuff and finally the woods part

I'm uploading a little video that explains a bit about it, and has some pictures. It's not paticulalrly necessary, but I'm on a GW spree. Ima go on my GW right now and see whether my chars have any birthday presents...

Asuras= super intelligent, super magical with vastly superior technology. Which includes teleport gates. And freaking golems. Which are big and uberly strong.
They will rule the WORLD! MUAHAHAHA!
Ahem. And as to birthday presents, your character recieves one on the anniversary of their creation. Which means that my first character gets one on my birthday, since that's when I got GW.
