Star Wars: Galactic Civil War

(Set just before the beginning of Episode IV, this RPG will almost certainly not follow the original storyline)

The Rebel Alliance has struck a great blow the Empire, a small fleet has managed to slip onto an Imperial Factory World and has obtained the plans and documents for an Imperial Super Weapon, codenamed: Death Star. The fleet has managed to break away from the world but is being closely followed by the remnants of the Imperial Fleet that was in that sector. Both fleets are battered and so the fight could go either way, but it is important for the continued survival of the rebellion that those plans and documents escape. (OOC: This is not Tantive V!) A small band of elite rebel units is on one of those ships with the plans and documents and are making ready to escape in a secret proto-type ship...

Koru sighed as he looked at the sleek dropship, its hull painted black. Inside was enough room for a squad of soldiers, or elites. It held advanced sensor arrays, stealth field generators, signal scramblers and all manner of other devices to make the dropship almost totally undetectable. The cruiser they were flying on shuddered as Imperial turbo-lasers found their target and hit the ship across the hull. “Alert, shields are failing, alert, shields are failing!” Came the warning from speakers in the hanger. Koru’s reptilian body tensed as another hit was scored by the Imperial ships, out of the Hanger entrance which was sealed by a forcefield, Koru could see the other ships in the Rebel fleet. Outside the hanger Rebel soldiers, crewmembers and passengers scurried to and fro as the ship took more hits. Koru waited for the other elite squad members to get to the hanger...

I am not sure whether that was a good enough intro or not... Here is a summary, a rebel fleet has stolen plans and documents for the Death Star while it is being constructed (OOC: This is not Tantive V!) fleet under attack from an Imperial Fleet, elite group are taking the plans in a proto-type stealth dropship.

Elite teamMember Guide lines
Elite team members are bound by a set of rules. If they fail to follow these rules they lose their position, power, or other consequences.

1) No light sabers, I know this is Star wars but someone who has a powerful weapon, several backup weapons, elite training AND has a light saber is quite a bit OPish, unless you are a Jedi
2)Members can only have one special ability (not the force, unless a Jedi). They aren’t trained for more than one
3)Elite team members, although well trained, are not uber-powerful(normally)
4) Members must follow the instructions of their commanders (PoPs) if given one otherwise, follow original mission objective
5) Members can betray the team to the Imperials but contacting the Imperials without getting pulverised is difficult at the least

Personality: A shy but slightly talkative person, makes good friends, pays attention to his surroundings, alert, lonely
Other: Used to fly rebel Y-wing fighters before he was moved into the elite group

Race Name: cross between Cathar and Human (also a cyborg)
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Appearance: feline features but with less fur than usual and has human eyes. Left blue eye. Right is a robotic red. (cybernetics) his legs are like that of an HK-24. (Cybernetics) Also his left arm is robotic.
Clothing: No clothes. He has no need, his fur keeps him warm and he has no genitals.

Weapons: His main weapons are a very old Zabrak Blaster Carbine, Bryar Pistol and a vibroblade. Increased strength from his cybernetics can be included as a weapon. Plus he carried an old Gungan personal energy shield and several grenades and thermal detonators. He mainly has plasma grenades.

Special Ability: He can drive almost all vehicles in the galaxy. (He would need others to help him fly vehicles that need more than one pilot)
Personality: loveable, can be a very dangerous enemy, morally flexible, fairly scary when needs to be.

Short History: He is an ex merc and bounty hunter. he killed many different targets including jedi. He joined the rebels when he got blown up. When he awoke, he was cyberneticly enhanced. He was born on Manaan but lives on Dantoine with the Tusken Raiders. He also has restored almost all known models of droid including the Basilisk war droid.

Other: His personality is transferred onto a chip in the back of his skull when he dies. Also able to make a back-up chip with his personality and memories so he can continue after death by putting his chip into a droid or other being.
