On the Spot RP Ideas

Here you can discuss any quick rp ideas you have and allow others to develop it. You can add characters, scenes, areas stories etc. So basically quick ideas that appear on the spot and that you would like to share with this clan so they can develop it, to become a full devloped story like the other Rps on this forum.

So heres an example of one i thought of, Im always thinking of tiny ideas that could go into a propper story but never know what else to build around that idea.

Torn Spirits

Torn Spirits is a fantasy story based around the activity of spirits and other mystical creatures. The spirits are very rare to see and only appear at certain times of the year. It is said that it is the soul that gives them the power to hide themselves for how ever long they want.

Some evil guy that owns a secret organisation, has discovered a way to tear away a spirits soul and reveal it to the world for ever (this lead the guy to become evil and want to steal all the souls). After their soul has been torn from their body, the soul that gives them powers will go to the person that stole it and give them the powers, hence why the evil guy and others that follow him want them soo badly.

The spirit/ creature becomes distraught and highly aggressive towards anything, soon it dies out and poisons the air around them.


Or you can put something shortler like,

There is 6 hidden keys to hell, 2 have been broken and 4 are left. The good vs the evil. Evil side have possessed humans fighting on their side with enhanced supernatural powers whilst the good side have enhanced magical swords (weapons) and armour.

It may look long but it is only a quick idea, that is basically what I mean. So, anyone can alter or devlop this one further if they want to.

I have got one: A human space craft was flying along and entered a new solar system, then the ship got pulled in by a nearby plant's gravitational feild and crashed. The planet is occupied with medieval humans with elves and dwarves and stuff like that. The crew all survived and are now stranded with no means of escaping the planet. The crew have rifles and stuff like that but they still have to face near death battles and they have no allies or anything. They landed in the middle of a volcanic landscape filled with daemons and things like that.





Add stuff onto that if you wish.

Arising Gods

In the land of Senrees, it is believed that gods look down on the planet to keep it in order and to safe-gaurd against evil gods. It is written that when any six Minish Gods have been killed, a single Semuhl God will appear, it is niether good or evil. A Semuhl God is a combination of the six Minish Gods killed and has the ability to slow time.

A small organisation is attempting to find and kill the Minish Gods, the organisation have theories that allow them to steal the Gods powers but need to be tested by killing a Minish God. You and others are trying to stop them.

Island of Voi

You have seen the worst that the isle of Grennendia has to offer but there are other lands on this planet. Welcome to the island of Voi there is no law here exept for cold steel, The Galloping Hordes control the mountains and take apart anyone who is not deemed good enough to enter. The Knights of the Rose patrol the rolling hills and grasslands killing all the evil they find. The fourty theives: An invincible group of bandits prowl the Arabian style deserts. There are stronger technologies here but few dare to use. The Necromancers are the most scary and deadliest but can make great allies even able to resurrect with their dark powers.

This would be set parallel with the main story as it is just another island just across the pond, as they say... If you want, you could bring your chars over from the main story. Or just create a totally different char. If the GM and Zig say yes then you would be able to bring these chars to the main story. I think I might make this RP.

cool idea there, so does that mean new chars can be made as well? it's almost like a spin-off type sequel to Land of Grennendia

Yes you can, you could resurrect others but they could only travel to Voi's borders. You would also need to be friends with the Necromancers. Word of warning, The Galloping Hordes are allies with the Necromancers.

Is a fantasy based mystical natural RP were players get to explore a world filled with an unknown evil spreading accross the world. Take part in deep mystical forest surrounded by natural life and the un-natural poisoned life. Uncover the mysterious crashed pods, lead others into hope whilst battling against beastly creatures and magical powerful bosses.

Plot

Three large pods crashed through the atmosphere on planet Amashi, onto the lands of Amagii (Amagii Lands). (The pods formed an egg liek shape) Causing great creators around them on landing, the country has been set into a panic with thieving, fear, looting houses, abondoned buildings going on.

The pods have begun to poison the minds of natural life of the planet (plants, trees, wild life animals etc - even some humans), the effect has had dramatic effects on some creatures (bosses/ mini bosses) without out explanation, possibly something from the pods. Forest have begun to decay were as other parts have begun to aggresively flourish and become overgrown. Same goes to other areas, like swamps, mountains etc

Sounds surprisingly like my ZKD Nestran series that i'm making in conjunction with unit. Nestran pods crash, cloning pods in them make the nestrans, which can make buildings that poison water and atmosphere.

Anyway, sounds interesting. It'd need interesting landscapes, what kind of things other then the forests would there be?

omg! I didnt realise how close it sounds to yours I havnt read the story behind Nestran Wars or even seen much of it tbh, although ive seen creations in spore but thats it - so i'm not copying just so you know, in fact i actually got the idea form Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

It's quite an often repeated type of story, so.

Wow, I didn't realise the story I made up was a recurring one... hmm...

Well it is a variation on common one, and besides, thats only the story in two adventures made so far.
It's a much bigger series, we can expand on it, make it more original.

I need to PM you the basic story I am working on. I think it is differnet enough. The Nestran Fore's description sets them apart though

The Deept Forest Exploration RP sounds good btw, wonder if anything's gonna happen to it

And the levels/ areas i'd have would be, forest, water/ swamp, mountain, desert, sky, Poisonous Swarsh (an area filled with dark black plants, vines, flowers, etc - they are the source of Sento. Sento is used to make living weapons that hold magic to their attack.)

Hmm. I has an idea for an RP:
Right, you have just come to a small town for a veriety of reasons at night(could be that you are going to meet up with friends. Recieved a police backup call. Anything)
When you arrive, you see the town is in a state of disrepair and is deserted. You see an old mansion overlooking the town in the distance. You walk up to a house or something and suddenly you realise that something very unnatural is going on.
You turn around and see a group of undead walking towards you....
Then you start. You must be a civvy in this.
EDIT: Also you cannot leave the town! All electronic devices stop working once you enter the town outskirts aswell.

No. No radio static. It just goes dead. The car just goes dead and only lights flicker. Almost all electronic devises stop working.
EDIT: They are undead humans, not monsters from imagination. No pyramid head. Others are in the town just in boarded up places like in the church or the supermarket.
Later on in the RP, I will tell what the mansion is for. But not intil then...
Oh also, the only type of starter char that has a gun is the Police officer. All others don't have guns to start off with.
The town looks like there has been a riot. Not like what Silent Hill looks like. And also the air is clear and all that. Maybe a thunderstorm or something. NO evil fog. Normal fog, maybe...

Modern Magic.
Basically, This was originally heiwa's, but it seems he's never going to get round to making it.
In the world we know, the IS magic. There a lucky few people who have the ability- these people are casters. Each of them has a book- and each has magic pertaining to a different element.
Darkness, Nature, Light, Fire, Water, Earth, Air. Each different element has it's own book- each person only has one element.
There is, however, another few people who know about magic who Hate magic, and seek to kill all the casters. These formed the Anti Magic Society.
Thats the basics.
